Well he would say that wouldn't he.
That is one of those phrases which you wonder if she somehow preplanned-
although her original version was more succinct.

Mandy R-D was certainly the more attractive of the pair. It seems she
died in 2014, although judging by the pictures time was kinder to her.

I believe Profumo ended up doing charity work in East London.

No doubt Spike will have 'the truth' behind the Ward business. Minor
details such was Profumo's involvement was already common knowledge
won't stop him from concocting one of his theories. Perhaps the parties
took place on his 'walk' and he saw some 'shenanigans' ;-) Confessions

"... a good mix of invention on your part, your usual hypocrisy, and of
course envy in that post" - Brian Reay, some 8 hours ago.

Or, given the circumstances: "He would say that, wouldn't he!" - MRD,
1963, although it isn't exactly what was said at the time.

The problem with Profumo was that he was a junior defence minister
presumably with access to military secrets, and the prostitutes
concerned and their protector had associations with Soviet spies.
Furthermore, by trying to lie about all this he exposed himself to the
risk of blackmail. Generally, I'd agree with you.

"I hope all your doughnuts turn out like Fannie's" - possibly
apocryphal, but attributed to STV presenter Bill Tennant.

The other day, one of the news announcers was talking about a "yellow
snow warning" ("Don't eat it" should be all the warning anyone needs.)
In later broadcasts it had been corrected to "yellow warning for
snow".

So he was! He always seemed a bit of a nonentity at the time, but you
are apparently perfectly correct. All the more reason why a link to
Soviet spies was a poor career move, apart from the sex issues. Which
latter, I agree, should be none of our business.

No doubt Spike will have 'the truth' behind the Ward business. Minor
details such was Profumo's involvement was already common knowledge
won't stop him from concocting one of his theories. Perhaps the
