Rules different in Scotland?
It seems they are , from what I've seen over the past couple of days.
It's legal to park on double yellow lines in Scotland, provided you
keep your flashers on.

It's also ok to park in the disabled spaces if you're only going to be
minute at the cash machine, or you're just nipping in for some fags .
Unless being a fat lazy bastard counts as being disabled.
