That's a fantastic price. I'm using a 600/600 ohm audio transformer to
isolate an earth-loop problem between the rig and the PC (extracting the
audio to feed into the sound card so I can get SSTV and DRM pictures
using MMSTV and Easypal).

It is, I ordered a pack this morning. At that price cheap enough for stock.

I have some on surplus/scrap boards which came my way (I think part of
the odd digital PMR radio system 'National One' when the local unit was
scrapped) but, unsoldering them is a pain. At under £2.50 for 10, inc
postage, it isn't worth it.

Another of Cummins' panic accusations.

If you read the transcripts referenced elsewhere, you will see
references to similar wild accusations etc.

Yes, wild accusations made by a debt collection company against an
individual and company that costs them money every day.

But then Reay only ever takes one side of a story.

So why not produce the September transcript? Or the December order? After
all, if they support your position, you'd be producing them right now.

You are the one running all over Usenet, libelling an established company
and a well-respected court advocate, you need to prove your case.

The fact that the transcripts you are producing refer to a September
hearing, but you don't have ANY detail of it, is telling.

Look at the date on the appeal ruling.

No response?

To be clear, you are claiming the was another hearing in Sept which Mr
Wilkie would have attended and the costs were changed?

Yes or No.

If yes, produce the evidence or be proven a liar.

No, I am claiming that YOUR OWN EVIDENCE states that the judge will be
having a hearing in september where Mr Wilkie would have attended and
made representations on costs.

Your own evidence - so produce that hearing transcript, which is
different to the appeal hearing.

Also, the order you produces is not valid. Produce a valid one, certified
by the judge.

Or decide that you have dug a big enough hole...

Doesn't work like that Cummins, especially as the Appeal is dated in Oct.

So, unless you can produce something, you are caught out.

Just like on all the other points.

Doesn't work like that Cummins,
OK - let me explain this to you simply.

YOU make the claim, YOU provide the evidence.

Your own "transcript" claims that there is to be a hearing in September.

The Appeal was an appeal against the judgment in July, not against the
hearing in September. That's what the Appeal transcript says, BTW.

So produce the hearing in September's transcript, where costs are to be
finally settled, or be shown to be nothing but a shite-stirring
cock-womble apron-wearing twat.

Do you really think that libelling a company is the best way to spend
your "autumn years" especially when we here already know, from your own
admission, that you have been transferring assets to evade any court
orders?

Oh look at Companies House!

Another alias and an address & look at the dates of birth.

You do let you mouth, or keyboard, give you away. All in the public domain.

I'd not be surprised if those you go up against have found it as well.

Yawn

Tell someone who cares, like a Policeman.

You can hand over your dossier at the same time, and try to get me "done"

Oh wait... you already tried that, and got absolutely nowhere.

"RSGBTech is meant for everyone", or so the RSGB says. The group is
moderated 'to
ensure that the questions are on topic', but the group's own admissions
policy mention
(a pre-) 'vet', 'known', 'trouble', and 'maker', but not the vetting
policy! None of these are
mentioned in the RSGB's Guidelines, which they claim the group should
follow.

ITA5 as used by teleprinters only had capitals, figures, punctuation and
a few control characters. Each key had a figure(or punctuation) and a
letter, so the RYRYRYRYRYRYRYRY tuning signal could appear as 4646464646
if the LTRS shift was missed during signal decode, of if the OP failed
to hit the key!

You'd also get similar odd effects if you had the sidebands reversed
when operating FSK or AFSK into a SSB rig.

I've no idea. I had a Creed 7B , which belonged to GM8BJF. I never used
it on transmit. I just used it to read the news agencies.

50 Bauds with a wide shift TU then. I used to find RTTY worked well on
144.6 but there was always some interesting stuff from the utilities

I did my news copying in the early to late 70s. All wide shift 50 Bauds
copying TASS, TANJUG et al. AR88, CR100 then FRG-7/FRG-7000 with
TTY14/TTY15/TTY28 with a selector magnet supply that had a mercury
rectifier in it so you had funky purple flashes in time to the data.
Also Creed 7b. But the 7b was shit compared the TTY28. I had a Creed 444
but had to dump it when I moved house. Nobody wanted it then. Worth
money now :-(

Still find the rhythmic noise and oil smell a fantastic draw. So much
better than glass teletypes and computers. Total magic.

ISTR unshift on space was something the actual teleprinter did so as
soon as a space came in it would drop to LTRS. I gave up and Googled it,
it was the TTY28 that did it.

I turned down a 444 or two many years ago when they were dumping them
from TELEX service. I took the easy route with a C64 and built my own
ST5C. Other people I knew had Creed stuff though, with a reperforators
and tape readers. I recall lots of early BAUDOT art (as opposed to
ASCII art) pictures of stuff like the PO Tower.

When I was at school we had a Model 33 with acoustically coupled modem
for computer studies, but that would have been ASCII rather than BAUDOT.

Mine was just taking up space. I offered it on here, but no takers. A
local geek group took it and were fascinated as I powered it up one
last time. They remarked it was a mechanical computer, which amused me.
There was still printout on it from one of the weather services.

You must be new here. Welcome to ukra!
Why does ANY subject raised in this NG descend (without
exception) into the same 20 year-old slanging match? Heaven
knows what the outside world thinks of amateur radio and radio
amateurs.

Because most radio amateurs are hysterical, histrionic, senile wankers?

"RSGBTech is meant for everyone", or so the RSGB says. The group is
moderated 'to
ensure that the questions are on topic', but the group's own admissions
policy mention
(a pre-) 'vet', 'known', 'trouble', and 'maker', but not the vetting
policy! None of these are
mentioned in the RSGB's Guidelines, which they claim the group should
follow.

Is it really? You don't bother monitoring such things when you are
enjoying 'grand vacance', as Frenchman we met on holiday described
retirement.

Off down to Hythe later in the week- somethings to collect first but
also a walk on the beach planned. If you've not taken the family down
that way, I can recommend it. Fishing is good too, although a bit early
for my chosen fish.

That's a fantastic price. I'm using a 600/600 ohm audio transformer to
isolate an earth-loop problem between the rig and the PC (extracting the
audio to feed into the sound card so I can get SSTV and DRM pictures
using MMSTV and Easypal).

The claims re tame moderators didn't go down well at all with those who

I intend to try transmitting DVB-T on 438 Mhz but from what I have
read doing such will result in extra bandwidth due to sidebands.

I'm not sure how wide a single 'programme' DVB-T MUX is - but I suspect
it should fit inside the top end of the band. However, be aware of the
presence of certain non-standard repeater shifts (some up to 7.6MHz, I
think). Aren't some people trying live digital in the 1MHz extension of
2m? You need to check with the BATC.

In theory it could omit carriers and transmit a narrower signal at
lower bitrate, but in practice "standard DVB-T transmitters" cannot
do this. I heard some amateurs produced modulators and alternative
firmware that can do e.g. a 2 MHz wide DVB-T signal.

That's a fantastic price. I'm using a 600/600 ohm audio transformer to
isolate an earth-loop problem between the rig and the PC (extracting the
audio to feed into the sound card so I can get SSTV and DRM pictures
using MMSTV and Easypal).

I have DVB-T encoder modulator that can do 4 programs anywhere
from 30 to 960 Mhz.
But how wide is it when it carries only one 'programme'?
Its width will always be the same, even when switched off.

You mean..... like....... 19.5"? That'll fit in the 70cm with room to
spare.
